How to Double Your Admission Odds for International Students (Part 1)
10 U.S. universities with full scholarships where Early Decision can double your acceptance rate — Holy Cross at 67%, Skidmore at 41%, Smith at 40%, and more.

There's a strategy that can double your chances of getting into a fully-funded U.S. university — and most international students don't know about it.
It's called Early Decision (ED).
Early Decision acceptance rates are significantly higher than Regular Decision at almost every school. We're not talking about a small bump — some schools accept 2–3x more students in the ED round.
Here are 10 schools that give full scholarships to international students, along with their Early Decision acceptance rates.
What Is Early Decision?#
Early Decision means you apply early (usually by November 1–15) and receive your decision early (usually by mid-December). The catch: ED is binding — if you're accepted, you commit to attending that school.
For international students who need financial aid, this is important: you are NOT required to attend if the financial aid package doesn't meet your needs. If the school can't fully fund you, you can decline and apply elsewhere during Regular Decision.
This makes ED a powerful strategy: higher acceptance rates with a financial aid safety net.
